ISO9001:2015 Registration

Aspen Systems Inc. continues to meet requirements, set by the “ISO:9001 2015” International Standard as confirmed by an independent evaluation of Aspen’s Quality Management System, by Intertek, an internationally recognized Certification Body.

Marlborough, MA – Aspen Systems, Inc., a Massachusetts-based manufacturer of miniaturized refrigeration systems is proud to post its recent ISO 9001:2015 re-certification.

Aspen Systems Inc. are pleased to announce that they have received re-certification to ISO 9001:2015; following the (3) day assessment of their Quality Management System (QMS) to the requirements of the standard.

Aspen had already transitioned successfully in 2018 during routine surveillance audits conducted by Intertek their Registrar, successfully demonstrating that their QMS had incorporated the new requirements of the revised standard, necessary for continued registration.

Glenn Deming VP and General Manager said” Aspen’s management team have embraced the content of the new standard, specifically the Risks and Opportunities requirements. We adopted the risk/opportunity tools and approaches to help us drive improvements, make our business processes more effective, and also to integrate the ‘risk based approach’ into our planning and business operations to help us meet our objectives and customer needs”

“Aspen achieved initial certification to ISO 9001 in 2013 and have found it extremely valuable and necessary to address the demands and expectations of  most of our customers, some of which come from the defense and medical device arena” said John Inglis Director of Quality.

Aspen has received their new certificate in July and then be subjected to routine surveillance audits by Intertek on an annual basis going forward.
