Aspen Systems Inc. passes an independent evaluation of their quality and management systems by Intertek, an internationally recognized certification company.
Marlborough, MA – Aspen Systems, Inc., a Massachusetts-based manufacturer of miniaturized refrigeration systems is proud to announce its recent ISO 9001:2008 certification. To become certified, a company must fulfill requirements outlined by the International Standardization Organization, or ISO. Specifically, ISO 9001:2008 requires an organization to demonstrate a quality management system with the ability to consistently provide product that meets customer, statutory and regulatory requirements. The certification also means the organization has demonstrated its commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction through the application of the management system, with processes for continual improvement and the assurance of conformity to customer, statutory and regulatory requirements. The comprehensive system audit covered every
aspect of business development, design and development, and manufacturing operations.
“As any company that has been through the process knows, achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification is demanding,” said Kang Lee, Chairman and President of Aspen Systems Inc. “Each individual and organization must be dedicated to the pursuit of quality and continuous improvement. By regularly evaluating the performance of our organization at every level, we assure our customers that we are committed to providing them with superior customer service and the highest quality products.”
Since its origin in 1984, Aspen has been recognized as a pioneer in the development of miniature refrigeration compressors and thermal management systems technology. As a result, Aspen has continuously provided advanced technology products and has become an industry leader for miniature refrigeration systems.
“ISO 9001:2008 certification complements our technology leadership position,” said Glenn Deming General Manager and Vice President of Engineering. “While improving our existing products and finding new applications for miniature refrigeration technology remains our emphasis, we want to ensure that every product meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations. ISO 9001:2008 certification assures every person who buys, sells, and uses ASI’s products that they’ve made the best possible miniature refrigeration system investment.”
“Everyone at ASI put in a great deal of effort and was critical to our success in achieving certification. We’re all excited about what this means for our customer relationships. ISO 9001 certification is further evidence to them, and to prospects, that we manufacture quality, high-performance products that meet the unique demands of each of the industries we serve,” said Deming.
