In early May, 2016, Aspen built and shipped the 1000th Liquid Chiller Module (LCM). The 1000th unit marks a significant milestone in the young life of this product. Aspen installed a manufacturing line in its Marlborough, Massachusetts facility to launch the LCM in July 2015. The LCM has found great success with many customers and production ramped in late 2015 to meet the growing system demand. At present, Aspen is building as many as 40 LCMs per week and expects those numbers to increase as several new customers transition into production with the LCM in the coming months.
The Liquid Chiller Module was designed to provide customers with a means to leverage Aspen’s miniature refrigeration expertise, while remaining cost-effective, efficient, and compact. The LCM is used in a broad range of industries, including medical, laser, military, laboratory, and industrial.
